The 2020 edition of the G-STIC conference came at the right time to underline the urgency to identify integrated technological solutions and promote multi-stakeholder collaboration to tackle the many challenges to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals.

Gro Harlem Brundtland, Damilola Ogunbiyi and Hindou Oumarou Ibrahim are true champions of change. Being part of the G-STIC community, they will make a difference in forwarding the implementation of integrated solutions for the SDGs.

When it comes to fighting the impact of climate change, the time for business-as-usual is up. But how can we enable the breakthrough technological innovations that are vital for achieving the SDGs? And how do we ensure they work for the benefit of all people?

Participants of the 2019 G-STIC conference sessions dived into examples of market-ready solutions. In doing so, they helped pave the way for sensitising policymakers and evaluating the transformative potential of technological innovations.
